Guest Martyr49 Posted February 24, 2019 at 01:23 AM Report Share Posted February 24, 2019 at 01:23 AM Can a Man make a motion to give his wife who works for the Church a raise in Pay, and the wife make the second on the motion.
jstackpo Posted February 24, 2019 at 01:34 AM Report Share Posted February 24, 2019 at 01:34 AM I suppose he could make it, but I suspect it might not get very far... If someone else makes it, however, he shouldn't speak for it (if he has any sense at all), nor vote for it - page 407, line 21. But as a member, he cannot be absolutely forbidden from doing so. Yes, technically he may make the motion and the wife May 2nd it and they both can vote on it, but it will probably be considered bad form to do so. This is assuming, of course, that they are both voting members.
