Guest Ellen Dalton Posted April 23, 2021 at 11:19 PM Report Share Posted April 23, 2021 at 11:19 PM Once you have voted and the majority won the vote can you re-vote with regards to the same topic? We have 8 people involved in an HOA. We voted on replacing wood around the pool with new wood. The majority of 5 to 3 won the vote to replace the wood with wood. Now the group who lost the vote and at least one more person want to re-vote to replace the wood with concrete. Is this re-vote allowed? Joshua Katz Posted April 24, 2021 at 01:02 AM Report Share Posted April 24, 2021 at 01:02 AM They can move to rescind or amend something previously adopted, presumably by changing "wood" to "concrete."
Weldon Merritt Posted April 24, 2021 at 02:47 PM Report Share Posted April 24, 2021 at 02:47 PM 13 hours ago, Joshua Katz said: They can move to rescind or amend something previously adopted, presumably by changing "wood" to "concrete." And if previous notice is given, adoption of that motion requires only a majority vote. Otherwise, it requires either a two-thirds vote or a majority of the entire membership.
