Board member concerns

We have a club treasurer who is ignoring the messages of our new club president, and does not do his job according to our bylaws.  The bylaws don't provide a way to require him to step down.  What would be the process according to Roberts Rules?

What, exactly, do your bylaws say about the term of office? Please copy verbatim the entire language, and make sure to tell us if it says anything similar to "and until their successors are elected" or "or until their successors are elected."

This information will help to give a more specific response.

It states that "they shall serve until their successors are elected".

Thank you for that information..... but we need just a bit more.  Please post the entire statement or provision  about the term of office, including the phrase about serving until their successors are elected.

Edited to add:  A subtle difference in the wording of that provision can make a big difference in the procedure for removing an officer from office.  That is why we need the entire provision.

Thanks for working on a solution for me, thankfully the person in question decided to resign on his own.  Saved a lot of drama I'm sure.
