Can a motion be made at the next meeting to reconsider the previous passed motion? It is too late to Reconsider the motion. The time limit for that motion has passed. A member could, however, move to Rescind the motion. The motion to Rescind is debatable and requires for its adoption a 2/3 vote, a vote of a majority of the entire membership, or a majority vote with previous notice. Quote

In many cases it could be but there are exceptions. we'd need to know more about the motion: what it said, and what was done to carry it out beyond announcing it (or maybe the announcement was the whole point?) Either say more here or if you have a copy of RONR 12th ed., check out §35. Quote
