Closed naval veterans club?Although the RONR default (unless your rules are different, which they may be) is that the Vice President "ascends" to the Presidency and you now have a vacancy in the VP office.As for your scenario, if the Pres resigns, and you hold elections for a new Pres, why would anyone consider voting for him?
