Guest Tom M Posted January 2, 2011 at 03:16 PM Report Posted January 2, 2011 at 03:16 PM I am a menber of an organization that's governing officers consist of a president, VP, Secretary, Treasurer and 5 Board of Directors. Currently all 9 members have the right to vote on matters concerning the organizations financial and other matters. The question is under Roberts rules should all these officers have the right to vote or should the secretary and treasure be ruled out since they are paid officers.
jstackpo Posted January 2, 2011 at 03:20 PM Report Posted January 2, 2011 at 03:20 PM Nothing in RONR "rules out" voting privileges for officers (members) just because they may be paid for their work.
