Guest Lee Posted April 22, 2011 at 05:36 PM Report Share Posted April 22, 2011 at 05:36 PM After an Executive Committee meeting, we realized that we neglected to vote on an item. We are now planning to ask for votes electronically which our bylaws allow. However, there were two members absent at the meeting when the topic came up for discussion. Are they allowed to vote on this item?

JohnR Posted April 23, 2011 at 04:54 AM Report Share Posted April 23, 2011 at 04:54 AM Certainly any member may vote at a meeting. But such certainty about an electronic vote? Does RONR now cover electronic meetings?

hmtcastle Posted April 23, 2011 at 11:07 AM Report Share Posted April 23, 2011 at 11:07 AM If the bylaws so clearly allow it, why the question?Well, the question was not about electronic (absentee?) voting per se, it was about voting when you missed the debate. The real question is why Nancy N. still poses as a "Guest".
