Guest Guest_Jess Posted July 18, 2011 at 10:40 PM Report Share Posted July 18, 2011 at 10:40 PM Is it unusual or against RR to exclude the names of members present/absent in the minutes? The chairman does not want the names included in the minutes (the issue has not been discussed; the chair simply informed the committee without explanation). The group's membership is 15 members. Robert B Fish Posted July 18, 2011 at 10:53 PM Report Share Posted July 18, 2011 at 10:53 PM Recording the names of those present is NOT required in RONR (page 452). However, the minutes should indicte that the regular chairman and secretary were present of, if not, who acted in their places. However, the assembly could order something different. (Majority vote required unless this is a suspension of the rules.)-Bob
