Guest Ohio Guy Posted September 15, 2011 at 10:29 PM Report Share Posted September 15, 2011 at 10:29 PM We have a proposed change to our By-Laws. The change will be heard by our Steering Committee prior to being voted on by our membership. While still in the Steering Committee is it possible to amend the proposed By-Law change by adding one word, prior to the Steering Committee voting on the proposed change? All proper procedures have been followed and notice has been given of the proposed change.Thank you for your help. tctheatc Posted September 15, 2011 at 10:33 PM Report Share Posted September 15, 2011 at 10:33 PM I would think that depends on the power/authority your bylaws grant this Steering Committee.

It must report back the motion unmodified, together with whatever recommendations it decides to make.
