Appeals Committee

Although, if a pending Appeal (relating to a question of order at a meeting) is debatable and does not adhere to the pending question, the Appeal can be referred to a committee. (RONR, 11th ed., p. 257, lines 6-11)

I suspect (as I suspect you suspect) that the original poster had something else in mind. ;)

It was a hearing for a fine imposed for non-compliance issue on home.

We have a board approved Appeals committee but they weren't immediately available this week so the Compliance chair went out and just asked other residents to be on the commottee. Our state statue says they must be board approved.

Thanks for the information.
