Original (unamended) motion and subsidiary motions in minutes?

My organization has completed an e-meeting, where the recommendation of a subcommittee was presented as a main motion, debated, amended several times, and adopted. The subcommittee chair requests that both the original (unamended) motion and the individual subsidiary motions be attached to the minutes. Is this a proper procedure, and what are the problems, if any, in doing so?

It doesn't conform to the rules in RONR for minutes of an in person meeting, though I don't know why it would be different in any other kind of meeting.
