Guest Sherlock Posted March 15, 2012 at 10:53 PM Report Share Posted March 15, 2012 at 10:53 PM Organization bylaws require two readings x number of days apart to amend bylaws. Bylaws require 2/3rds majority to amend. At first reading Board reads and majority votes not to amend. Does motion survive to second reading and another vote? Guest Guest Posted March 15, 2012 at 11:49 PM Report Share Posted March 15, 2012 at 11:49 PM Thank you. Bylaws are silent. Bylaws stare only that proposed amendment must be "presented" in writing at a "previous" Board meeting.
