Guest JR Posted May 12, 2012 at 05:28 PM Report Share Posted May 12, 2012 at 05:28 PM If the Board previously resolved that a committee be formed and a plan brought back to the Board for approval, rejection or modification is a motion to accept, reject or modify that plan already in motion at the next meeting or does it need to be put into motion? Chris Harrison Posted May 12, 2012 at 05:41 PM Report Share Posted May 12, 2012 at 05:41 PM The reporting member should frame the Committee's recommendations in the form of a motion.

Dan Honemann Posted May 13, 2012 at 10:29 AM Report Share Posted May 13, 2012 at 10:29 AM I don't think that's what Guest_JR_* was asking about. But it's about as close to it as anyone is going to be able to get. It appears that a committee was created to formulate some sort of plan, and report this plan back to the board for its consideration. Under these cirumstances, as Chris has indicated, the committee's report should set forth the plan which it has formulated together with a resolution that this plan be adopted. The committee's reporting member concludes his report by moving the adoption of this resolution.
