Guest Patricia McDougle Posted June 25, 2012 at 07:56 PM Report Share Posted June 25, 2012 at 07:56 PM Three directors are to be elected by plurality vote to the board of directors from a pool of seven candidates. Voting will be by electronic means (Audience Response Devices). 1. How should be electronic ballot be formatted in order to comply with the concept of one ballot for the election of directors? In standard format, the ballot would list the seven names with instructions to vote for three. 2. Depending on the format of the electronic ballot, what control is there over an individual voting for more than the number to be elected? In the example, the maximum votes would be three. The formatting of the ballot, and controls in the balloting process would seem to be more like customer support questions to the manufacture of your voting system, rather than rules of order.
