Elections question

Can a current board member(vice president) run for president? Does he have to resign position first? Vice president and president positions are 2 year terms. Positions are elected opposite years. (2011 vp,2012 pres,2013 vp). Says nothing in bylaws against it.

Nothing against it in RONR either. In fact, even if your bylaws prohibit holding multiple offices, you can still run for several of them, and if you win more then one, then you'd have to choose which to accept.

There's no "running" for an office in RONR, but there are no restrictions on which individuals can be nominated or elected.
