jstackpo Posted August 28, 2012 at 02:43 PM Report Share Posted August 28, 2012 at 02:43 PM But... since our Guest is dealing or working with a government body, that Council may have some rules about agenda item submission. If so, such rules would supersede RONR's rules where they are (possibly) in conflict. Rev Ed Posted August 28, 2012 at 04:55 PM Report Share Posted August 28, 2012 at 04:55 PM It depends on the rules of the organization - is the Agenda set in advance, or can it be amended at the meeting before it is officially approved? What restrictions do the rules say about newly elected, not sworn in, members? If the Agenda is approved at the meeting, and new members have no restrictions then they can propose Agenda items. Otherwise, they could bring it up under New Business.
