Board of Directors meeting minutes

RONR, page 487 - "these [board] minutes are accessible only to the members of the board unless the board grants permission to a member of the society to inspect them, or unless the society by a two-thirds vote (or the vote of a majority of the total membership, or a majority vote if previous notice is given) orders the board's minutes to be produced at read and the society's assembly."

So typically, they aren't, but they have to be if the general membership orders them to be read.

Do the minutes of a the Board of Directors meeting have to be read at a general membership meeting?

What about if the meeting is held in a public place where anyone can listen if they are sitting in the area? Such as a cafe area in a supermarket?

I suppose the answer would be the same, with the phrase "in the supermarket" added to the end.

Are you actually asking if the minutes of the BOD meeting have to be read at a general membership meeting (the original question) which happens to be held at the supermarket? Or maybe you wanted to start a new topic?
