Guest bill Posted September 7, 2012 at 02:04 AM Report Share Posted September 7, 2012 at 02:04 AM what is the exact role of the president. We have a small cub of 8. I was under the impression that the president was to remain neutral, make motions and chair the meetings.
g40 Posted September 7, 2012 at 02:34 AM Report Share Posted September 7, 2012 at 02:34 AM Get Robert's Rules of Order In Brief (RONRIB) and you get a great outline of the roles, especially the Chair/president.

David A Foulkes Posted September 12, 2012 at 01:04 AM Report Share Posted September 12, 2012 at 01:04 AM Who runs the meeting in the absence of the President? The Vice President, if present. If not, the secretary (or any member if the secretary is also absent) calls the meeting to order and presides over an election of a Chair pro tem.
