Gary c Tesser Posted September 13, 2012 at 05:48 AM Report Share Posted September 13, 2012 at 05:48 AM The fact that the assembly was misled, whether deliberately or inadvertently, is not enough to trigger a re-vote. Nevertheless, there are tools. Note that Chapter 7 in RONR - In Brief, with the cheery yellow cover, go out and buy one or two now, you'll be glad you did, is called "How Can a Group Change its MInd?" J. J. Posted September 13, 2012 at 06:31 AM Report Share Posted September 13, 2012 at 06:31 AM It may be possible to renew the motion if it was defeated. It may be possible to Rescind the motion if adopted at a previous meeting. It may be possible to Reconsider the vote on the motion, generally, if the vote was taken during the current meeting.
