Our Treasurer is out of town alot on business, and it would be easier if we could appoint a "back up" treasurer to sign documents and such. Secondly, if your bylaws call for "a treasurer", then that means one and you'll have to amend your bylaws if you want two. Or you could replace the current treasurer if he can't do his job.
