Guest Jay jayaram Posted February 15, 2013 at 04:24 AM Report Share Posted February 15, 2013 at 04:24 AM If an Organization fixes 50 members as quorum for starting a General Body meeting in a total membership of 300 plus and if a meeting starts with 100 people, what is the quorum required to continue the meeting? Is it 50 members or 1/3rd of the 100 people who started the meeting?

Guest Edgar Posted February 15, 2013 at 02:02 PM Report Share Posted February 15, 2013 at 02:02 PM . . . there is just the quorum required to conduct business at a meeting . . .And that quorum requirement remains unchanged throughout the meeting.Though I have to say that the "one-third of the members present at the start of the meeting" is a new one for me and I have to wonder about the source (other than, say, a bad batch of acid).
