Guest Patti D Posted February 15, 2013 at 12:10 PM Report Share Posted February 15, 2013 at 12:10 PM I am on the board of a small 20 unit time share. The president of the board will not accept any motions from the floor, it must be sent by mail to the president 2 weeks prior to the board meeting. Is this allowed by Roberts Rules? jstackpo Posted February 15, 2013 at 12:42 PM Report Share Posted February 15, 2013 at 12:42 PM "Allowed"? RONR doesn't have such a rule. However your rules might; if so they would supersede RONR's rule in that respect. Best to go check them.
Gary Novosielski Posted February 17, 2013 at 01:04 AM Report Share Posted February 17, 2013 at 01:04 AM RONR does not have a rule like that, nor does it give the president the power to make up rules along those lines. If I had some spare change I'd bet it doesn't exist in your rules either, but you'll have to look and see.
