PrimeMinister Posted June 2, 2013 at 09:54 PM Report Share Posted June 2, 2013 at 09:54 PM What is a "quarterly time interval"?
Guest Edgar Posted June 2, 2013 at 10:10 PM Report Share Posted June 2, 2013 at 10:10 PM One could be excused for thinking it means "three months". Perhaps less excused for thinking it means "fifteen minutes". But, in fact, "no more than a quarterly time interval intervenes between two sessions if the second session begins at any time during or before the third calendar month after the calendar month in which the fist session ends" (pp.89-90). Clear?

Guest Bill Pitt Jr. Posted June 2, 2013 at 10:20 PM Report Share Posted June 2, 2013 at 10:20 PM But, surely, "The Best Parliamentarian since William Pitt the Elder" has his own copy of RONR and could have looked it up himself.
Gary Novosielski Posted June 3, 2013 at 05:22 PM Report Share Posted June 3, 2013 at 05:22 PM Example: Since today is the 3rd of June, a quarterly time interval would extend until the last day of September.
