Guest Peter Berlyn Posted October 11, 2015 at 11:52 AM Report Posted October 11, 2015 at 11:52 AM A municipal council has such a significant matter to determine that it decides to hold one meeting to consider community submissions and decide the matter spread over three days breaking on adjournment each of the first two nights and voting at the end of the third... Not all Councillors attend each day (but enough to maintain a quorum). Some only attend on the last day just for the vote.....and so miss all or most of the submissions. Can they vote for the motion in the absence of knowledge of the community representations?
