Some organizations' bylaws require one or more officers to be present in order to have a quorum. I was at such a meeting last night. We were a bit nervous until the second officer showed up. But, nothing in RONR requires that any of the organization's regular officers be present. If the president/chairman isn't present, elect a chairman pro tem to preside at the meeting. If the secretary isn't present, elect a secretary pro tem to take minutes..
