      In our 55+ community, a non profit,  we would like to separate the bingo function from the social and recreational organization and become it own entity.

We take in money that is used for the bingo lisence, supplies, refreshments and social functions for the enjoyment of the bingo players. Is there a way to do this either via letter to the board of directors stating such, or an other method.  Please advise asap or where I can read on this in Roberts Rules of  Order.

I suspect this is a legal problem, not a parliamentary one, since in involves money and non-profit tax status.  Be careful!

It sounds to me like this organization wants to form a separate entity to put on the bingo games. I suppose this is possible, but agree with Dr. Stackpole that it sounds as much or more like a legal issue than a parliamentary one.
