Guest Hope Posted April 24, 2018 at 06:40 PM Report Share Posted April 24, 2018 at 06:40 PM The non profit I work for always has the closed meeting topics on the regular board agenda that is sent out to the community. This seems to stir up things and not in a good way. Should the closed meeting have an agenda that is easily viewed by the community?

No rule in RONR requires the board to publish any of its proposed agenda at all.
jstackpo Posted April 24, 2018 at 07:00 PM Report Share Posted April 24, 2018 at 07:00 PM That is entirely up to you, collectively. I suppose it depends on how deep you want your secrets to be. You might check if the non-profit law in your jurisdiction has anything to say about "closed" ("Executive Session", RONR, page 95) meetings.
