Guest Jason Posted January 31, 2020 at 03:59 AM Report Share Posted January 31, 2020 at 03:59 AM If there was a motion and a proper second and the vote was brought to the floor and the vote passed. How does the quorum reverse the vote after the fact.
Atul Kapur Posted January 31, 2020 at 04:27 AM Report Share Posted January 31, 2020 at 04:27 AM The motion to Reconsider can be made if the various conditions are met. If not, the motion to Rescind can be made. I don't understand your use of the word "quorum." I assume that there was and is a quorum when the motion was originally adopted and when you are trying to reverse that decision.
Transpower Posted February 3, 2020 at 01:49 PM Report Share Posted February 3, 2020 at 01:49 PM RONR (11th ed.), p. 349, ll. 9-11: "...the continued presence of a quorum is presumed unless the chair or a member notices that a quorum is no longer present." Therefore, motions passed prior to the notice of a lack of quorum are not affected.

So your use of the word "quorum" appears to be used in some other way, which needs clarification.
