So, it is not a part of Robert's Rules of Order. You might try a Google search. Also, in the future, please post your questions in the "General forum". We welcome you here, but this particular forum is solely for issues regarding the workings of the forum, such as problems with the forum itself. It is not for asking parliamentary questions. You might review the first pinned post in the General Forum which is titled: Important: Read this first. That makes a bit more sense, but there’s nothing in RONR about “waiver clauses” either.
Rob Elsman Posted February 20, 2020 at 08:32 PM Report Share Posted February 20, 2020 at 08:32 PM I have only heard of "waiver clauses" in the context of a special rule adopted in the U.S. House of Representatives, where all specified Points of Order are waived, the reading of the bill or resolution is waived, and so forth. Guest Zev Posted February 21, 2020 at 12:33 AM Report Share Posted February 21, 2020 at 12:33 AM "weaver clause" A Google search would have displayed several references. It has to do with a stipulation in a legal contract concerning liability.

If this is indeed what the OP is referring to, then RONR still has nothing to say about it, and he should consult an attorney for any questions.
