Club Manager wishing to run for President of the Board that is the final authority of said managers pay

I am a past Trustee, a situation has recently risen;  Our organization employs a Club Manager, the Manager's Salary is determined by a Board of Trustees, with the Approval of the President.  Suddenly the Manager determined she could run for President while still employed and then if she wins the election can remain at her current position of Manager and be President as well.  We need assistance in this very serious issue

I agree. So if you don't want her to be president, nominate and vote for someone else.
