The nominating committee will propose someone who is not eligible.  What do I say to oppose the nomination?

When the nominating committee makes its report at the meeting you raise a point of order that the nominee is ineligible because she does not meet the qualifications (or whatever the reason is). The chair should rule on your point of order. Her ruling may be appealed to the assembly. It requires a majority vote to overturn the ruling of the chair.

if the nominating committee has already made its report, you still raise the Point of Order at the election meeting.
