Joshua Katz Posted July 14, 2024 at 12:36 PM Report Share Posted July 14, 2024 at 12:36 PM RONR does not answer this question. It is up to your organization to define its board in the bylaws. That said, I'm confused by the reference to a committee having a board.
Richard Brown Posted July 14, 2024 at 01:03 PM Report Share Posted July 14, 2024 at 01:03 PM Agreeing with Mr. Katz, I’m equally confused about your language regarding“how many directors can a Committee have on the board“. I did not understand what you mean by that. What kind of committee are you referring to? I suspect you might not be talking about a committee in the normal sense of the word, but perhaps you are using the word Committee in the sense of the governing body of a political organization such as a state central committee. Gary Novosielski Posted July 14, 2024 at 02:34 PM Report Share Posted July 14, 2024 at 02:34 PM The title and the question ask two different things. You'll need to explain the structure of your organization more fully. But I have a strong feeling that no matter what the structure might be, the question of how may of what types of members may be named to a particular body will turn out to be something that only your bylaws will be able to tell us.
