Guest Phrantzes Posted May 26, 2010 at 11:16 PM Report Share Posted May 26, 2010 at 11:16 PM The President of our Association has failed to call an election as required in the By-laws. Both his and the Vice-President's two year terms of office have expired, as have two of the four trustee's terms. The Head of the Nominating Committee has resigned as well as the Secretary and Treasurer as of December 2009. As one the last remaining trustees whose term of office is still valid I should like to ask: what is the procedure to be followed?

hmtcastle Posted May 26, 2010 at 11:37 PM Report Share Posted May 26, 2010 at 11:37 PM I don't have a copy. Would you please summarize it?The short answer is that it essentially involves rescinding the bylaws. But you need to read the fine print.

Most libraries have a copy of RONR in their reference stacks.

jstackpo Posted May 27, 2010 at 12:47 AM Report Share Posted May 27, 2010 at 12:47 AM But on your way to the library, stop by the bank and secure the association bank account before it is too late.
