Guest Mark41 Posted May 30, 2010 at 12:51 AM Report Share Posted May 30, 2010 at 12:51 AM Our club is having trouble with our controling president. She was acting as both President and treasurer, and has been voted out but refuses to give records or club property to new Treasure. The by-laws state the Treasturer is to have keys to our kitchen along with activities director, but the president refuses to give up what she has and state she is president so has the power. Chris Harrison Posted May 30, 2010 at 01:04 AM Report Share Posted May 30, 2010 at 01:04 AM If she refuses to relinquish club property after being asked to do so call the police and let them deal with it. You should get a copy of the minutes where she was voted out of office and the new Treasurer was voted in to provide as proof that she does not have the club's consent to retain the property and records.
