Guest Marge Posted September 17, 2010 at 05:05 PM Report Share Posted September 17, 2010 at 05:05 PM If you are voting for Members to fulfill empty seats on a Board and there are more write-in candidates then seats, how do you decide which write in candidate gets the seat? Or do you vote on the write in candidates at the meeting, even though all possible voters are not there? And then is it the one with the most votes? The persons who get the most votes win the seats, provided they each get a majority vote. If the election is to fill vacancies in office, previous notice of the election is required for validity. For all the details, see RONR (10th ed.), §46, pp. 416ff.
