Three candidates are in the final selection for pastor. Two withdrew due to personal reasons. Does the candidate that remains automatically become the pastor (if he accepts) or does the process begin over?

If the rules in RONR control, the remaining candidate becomes pastor by acclamation if the governing documents do not require a vote by ballot. However, if a vote by ballot is required, then the vote must be taken, since the electors can write in other choices.
