Guest Kelli Ann Harman Posted September 21, 2010 at 08:24 PM Report Share Posted September 21, 2010 at 08:24 PM We have discovered that the role of fundraiser is too large for one person, and would like to share the positiion among two. Thus to form a co-fundraiser position. We would like to know if that means we have to hold a second election.
George Mervosh Posted September 21, 2010 at 08:28 PM Report Share Posted September 21, 2010 at 08:28 PM If the position you refer to is found in your bylaws, you can't have a co-fundraiser without amending the bylaws. Also there are problem with "co-" chairmen of any kind.

It is also generally more advisable to create two separate positions with clearly defined duties than to have two people share one position.
