Can the Parlimentarian of a group also hold another elected office within the same group (i.e. Recording Secretary)?

No rule in RONR prevents a person from holding two offices, but it recognizes that, by rule or custom, your society may not allow it. But you are free to allow it.

But note that even if a person isn't allowed to HOLD multiple offices, they can still be nominated (or written in) for multiple offices and then decide which one to accept, if elected.

(Parliamentarian should NOT be an elected office but the principle is the same.)

Could you reference the section in Robert's Rules that addresses that even if a person isn't allowed to HOLD multiple offices, they can still be nominated (or written in) for multiple offices and then decide which one to accept, if elected?
