hmtcastle Posted December 15, 2010 at 09:23 PM Report Share Posted December 15, 2010 at 09:23 PM Can a person serve on more than one board within the same organization? You might want to consider renaming some of those boards as committees to avoid any confusion. Typically there is a board of directors (or board of trustees) and, sometimes (especially if the board is large), a smaller executive committee ("a board within a board"). Then there may be various committees such as a membership committee, entertainment committee, etc. Unless there's a good reason to do otherwise, it's usually best to stick with the tried-and-true nomenclature.
