If RONR governs, then a new president has already been selected the moment the current president resigns - it's the vice president. Vice President stays where he is............... thanks eugenesande@yahoo.com No, unless your bylaws provide specifically in the case of the president that there is some other method of filling vacancies in the office of president, you do not currently have a Vice President, because the former VP became president the moment the president's resignation was effective (presumably when it was accepted). Your bylaws may specify how vacancies are generally filled, which would apply to the vacancy in the VP's office.
