Guest Nancy Posted February 7, 2011 at 05:23 PM Report Share Posted February 7, 2011 at 05:23 PM Must each topic of New Business be submitted in advance to be included on the Agenda? Or, in other words, can a member raise a topic during the New Business portion of the meeting that hasn't been previously submited for inclusion on the Agenda? Rev Ed Posted February 7, 2011 at 05:58 PM Report Share Posted February 7, 2011 at 05:58 PM While not required, if you know of an issue that you wish to bring up, and that it might cause some discussions, it might help to let other members know in advance if possible. While there are options for dealing with a motion when members want to gather more information, it might help if people know in advance of issues that may come up at the meeting. However, like George has stated, it is not required in most cases.
