Nominating committees

In the past we have stated that anyone who is on the nominating committee can not nominate themselves and must leave for the day if they are nominated by someone on the committee. We have learned that is in correct but our next question is can the person nominated actually vote for themselves? Thanks for your help on this issue. Kathy

Nothing in RONR supports that.

Yes, the person can vote for himself to be the nominating committee's nominee for an office, and, during the election, the person can vote for himself to be elected.
