Guest farmersdaughter Posted June 30, 2011 at 11:26 PM Report Share Posted June 30, 2011 at 11:26 PM It is unusal that we can get enough members to attend meeting to pull off an empeachment vote. Our board sets 20 deep and the regular members that attend the meeting are 12-20. Knowing the board is as thick as theives we feel we cant pull of a vote to remove one of them. Can we empeach a board member by a petition? I have looked through the by-laws and they address nothing about removal of an officer. Since there has never been 100 members in attendance our plan is to get at least 100 signers. Anyone have any thoughts? The board has sent all the meetings during the day and during the week to keep ppls from showing up for the meetings. We really need so guuidance on this issue. Guest farmersdaughter Posted June 30, 2011 at 11:55 PM Report Share Posted June 30, 2011 at 11:55 PM we tried to change the meeting date and time , however we were out voted 3 meetings in a row....we also tried to call a special meeting to address these issues , so when we attempted to make notification of items to be discussed in the special meeting. The Secretary said we have committeesthat were in charge of the issue we eanted to meet on and we could not move forward without first havinga meeting with that committee. A few of us met with a committee to just be told they are working on the issue. So I feel like another brick wall.
