Trina Posted January 5, 2012 at 03:48 PM Report Share Posted January 5, 2012 at 03:48 PM I don't think RONR answers your question, as Edicts are not defined in the book.Adopted motions do not expire with the term of those who adopted the motion. However, I'm not sure that addresses your question at all.

Josh Martin Posted January 6, 2012 at 04:47 AM Report Share Posted January 6, 2012 at 04:47 AM Does an Edict expire with the term of the issuer ?The term "edict" is not defined in RONR, so it would be helpful if you would provide some more information about the nature of the "edict" and who has issued it. In the general case, however, an action by an officer or an assembly does not expire with the term(s) of the officer or some or all of the members of the assembly. Larry Cisar Posted January 6, 2012 at 09:58 AM Report Share Posted January 6, 2012 at 09:58 AM Nor imperial rescripts? That one is for Dr. Cisar. Edicts issued by me are, of course, imperial. As to others who dare to issue them, off with their heads.
