Watson Posted March 20, 2012 at 12:21 AM Report Share Posted March 20, 2012 at 12:21 AM Reference: RONR (11th ed.), pp. 372-373Our city council meets bi-monthly and follows the standard order of business in RONR. The agenda is prepared the day before each meeting by the City Administrator and various Department Heads; it is then distributed online to the Mayor and all Aldermen.Under what circumstances would it be necessary for the Council "approve" the agenda? Why isn't "approval" routinely listed in the Order of Business. If no action is taken to "approve" the Agenda, is it possible that a meeting could be "invalidated?"Thank you.
