can the Coo serve on the Board of Directors in a Non-Profit, or is it a conflict? Thanks

No rule in RONR prohibits it.

Nothing in RONR prohibits it. Double check the organization's By-laws though as they may say differently. The COO could be allowed to appear at Board meetings to receive instructions and present a report.

However, otherwise it would be up to the organization to decide if it wants the COO to also be a Board member.
