Swissmrs Posted March 3, 2014 at 01:32 AM Report Share Posted March 3, 2014 at 01:32 AM We have a member of our executive who tendered his resignation via email. In his words in the email he wrote at the end: 'Please note, this decision is final and will not be reversed under any condition'. Two days later he sent another email stating he 'hereby rescinds his resignation'. Is that not in conflict with his original email? Does he have to power to reverse his resignation even though he said it could not be? We had a board meeting scheduled to discuss the resignation prior to his 2nd email. Our bylaws don't contain any rules regarding members leaving the board (except if it is the president).

If so, what if any action was taken regarding his resignation?
