Who attends executive board meetings?

Our board has called an exec board meeting to audit the treasuery. I can not find on this site who is supposed (or not) to attend. I was told board members, Pres & VP only. But I did see here that we could have special  invities. But what about the secretary? Wouldn't they be included in an exec meeting?

All board members (whoever that may be in your organization) have the right to attend. Whether others can attend is at the board's discretion.

In the rather unlikely event that the Secretary is not a member of the board and the board chooses not to let the Secretary attend, the board should make sure to elect a Secretary Pro Tempore for the meeting.
