Singing in harmony Posted December 18, 2014 at 01:35 AM Report Share Posted December 18, 2014 at 01:35 AM I am a member of an organization and a recent member of the b/d. A special all members meeting is being called to discuss the unanimous vote by the board to not renew a contract. After the letter was sent to the contractee, another motion was carried indicating the review comm(3 board members) recommended sending out the original contract to be signed. I was not on the board at the unanimous vote and do not support the board's action. How do is I go about speaking as a member, and not a board member, at this meeting.? I have questions about the board's intent and actions.
jstackpo Posted December 18, 2014 at 01:43 AM Report Share Posted December 18, 2014 at 01:43 AM If this is an "all members" meeting and you are a member, you are fee to sound off as you wish. The fact that you happen to be a board member is irrelevant. The board is not meeting; the members are.
