for a reference or information.   Both groups have on-line courses and both can put you in touch with local parliamentary groups ("Units" or "Chapters") that also have training opportunities.

Keefe, NAP in particular has a lot of local units.  You can get information on their state associations and local units from the website.  You may have to play around on the website a bit, but it's all there.  Most...perhaps all.... local units welcome guests.

 

They also have lots of books and other tools in their bookstore.   Click on "Store" on the home page.

 

They also offer an assortment of web based courses and webinars.  Click on "Training" on the home page.
